“A servant of humanity, a loyal Ahmadi, and a martyr in the path of Allah.”
Dr. Zaka-ur-Rehman Shaheed was a devoted member of Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya Pakistan, a humble servant of mankind, and a quiet but fearless ambassador of peace and service.
Born and raised in Ali Chak, District Gujrat, he served not only as a Dentist, but also as a faithful waaqif-e-zindagi (life devotee in spirit), using his profession as a means of fulfilling his pledge to Khilafat and his duty to humanity.
🕌 A Life of Obedience to Khilafat
Dr. Zaka lived under the guidance of Khilafat-e-Ahmadiyya, and was deeply obedient to the instructions of the Khalifa of the time. His loyalty to the Jamaat was unwavering. He regularly wrote letters to Hazrat Khalifatul Masih (aba) and sought prayers before every important decision in life.
He lived by the Jamaat’s motto:
“Love for All, Hatred for None”
And he practiced it — even toward those who hated him.
🧑⚕️ A Clinic Built on Taqwa (Righteousness)
His dental clinic was not just a workplace — it was his musleh, his field of silent tabligh.
He served rich and poor, Ahmadi and non-Ahmadi, Muslim and non-Muslim alike, with no discrimination.
He never sought praise or status — he only sought to follow the Holy Prophet (sa)’s example and win the pleasure of Allah.
🕯️ Martyrdom in the Path of Allah
On 27 July 2024, while attending to patients at his clinic, Dr. Zaka was martyred by unknown assailants in an act of religious hatred. He gave his life for his faith — not on the battlefield, but on the frontlines of service.
His martyrdom was a testimony of steadfastness, taqwa, and true devotion to Islam Ahmadiyyat.
🌹 A True Shaheed (Martyr)
The Jamaat mourns his loss but celebrates his example.
As beloved Huzoor (aba) has said of martyrs:
“Their blood does not fall on the ground; it is caught by angels and presented before Allah.”
Dr. Zaka's name is now written among those blessed souls who gave their lives for truth — and his sacrifice will never be forgotten.
🤲 We pray:
اَللّٰهُمَّ اغْفِرْلَهٗ وَارْحَمْهٗ وَادْخِلْهُ فِيْ عِلِّيِّيْنَ
"O Allah, forgive him, have mercy on him, and grant him place among the highest ranks."
آمین
